IMPORTANT :

The Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada will follow the guidelines of the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer regarding the hybrid work model applied across the federal public service. We are currently operating on a hybrid work schedule, and the selected candidate will be required to be on-site a minimum of three days per week.


Duties

Supervises staff involved in providing program services and activities to stakeholders. Manages the day-to-day activities, sets priorities and target timelines and maintains the work load.


Provides leadership, advice and operational guidance to management, staff and stakeholders.


Develops and implements components of the Program, including plans, priorities and goals and oversees the implementation of changes to processes administered by staff.


Conducts reviews of service delivery trends and performance and conducts analysis and environmental scans to develop strategies, process improvements and operational best practices.


Manages the introduction and implementation of new approaches to service delivery resulting from modernization initiatives.


Develops, implements, updates and reports on program delivery policies, frameworks, standards and process improvement, including risk assessment and quality assurance mechanisms.


Develops statistical and other reports on service delivery.


Develops and maintains effective working relationships with clients and stakehorders.

Public Services and Procurement Canada's (PSPC) Real Property Services (RPS) in the Quebec Region is responsible for providing office accommodation to the various federal departments and agencies and for providing management services associated with these offices. On the other hand, RPS is also responsible for providing a full range of real property advisory services and specialized advice to support the delivery of the programs of the various federal departments and agencies.

To do this, RPS manages a portfolio of government-owned buildings as well as leased space.



RPS provides services and advice to other federal departments in many areas of real property expertise, including the acquisition and disposal of assets, the fit-up and optimization of office space, real property management, leasing services and the management of external contracts for the provision of various real property services.



Within RPS, the Business and Financial Operations (BFO) sector provides internal services, including business planning, financial planning and human resources planning, to all fourteen (14) RPS business lines. The BFO sector is made up of three teams with a total of about thirty employees. The positions to be filled are newly created in a new structure that aims to broaden the range of services offered ant incorporate strategic components and the development of business intelligence.
