This role is located at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta, which follows a hybrid work model.


What Will You Be Doing?




Acting as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, shaping workforce plans, talent strategies, and organizational design to support business priorities Coaching and guiding leaders in addressing team dynamics, performance, and engagement in a way that builds capability and drives results Championing the consistent and fair application of People & Culture policies, programs, and practices across the business unit Providing expert advice on compliance with employment legislation and organizational standards, mitigating risk while enabling flexibility and innovation Partnering with leaders to design and deliver initiatives that foster engagement, belonging, and recognition Enabling career development by supporting coaching and performance conversations, succession planning, and access to learning opportunities Levering people data and analytics to identify trends, predict challenges, and deliver actionable insights that influence decision-making and improve outcomes Overseeing key moments in the employee lifecycle -- onboarding, orientation, internal movement, and offboarding -- ensuring a positive and seamless experience Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance People & Culture service delivery

As the Successful Candidate You Have:




3-5 years of relevant experience in People and Culture (HR) or a similar field Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is considered an asset In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and regulations Proficiency in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to leverage date and analytics to inform strategic decisions Skilled at building relationships and trust with leaders and employees at all levels Exceptional communication skills with expertise in conflict-resolution Experience driving change initiatives while fostering adaptability and engagement A CPHR certification is considered an asset Bilingualism French and English is considered an asset
