About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property management company. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficiency across all departments, supporting staff, and delivering excellent service to both property owners and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Office Leadership
Supervise, train, and support property managers, assistants, leasing staff and maintenance coordinators.
Manage staff timesheets , workload distribution, and performance reviews.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
Property & Maintenance Oversight
Oversee tenant move-ins, move-outs, and property turns to minimize vacancy time.
Coordinate and monitor maintenance requests, vendor contracts, and quality of work.
Oversee spot checks on properties to ensure compliance and upkeep.
Financial Management
Monitor rent collection, billing accuracy, and expense tracking.
Work with accounting to prepare financial reports and owner statements.
Help set and manage operating budgets for properties.
Process & Compliance
Maintain compliance with landlord/tenant laws, housing regulations, and safety standards.
Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
Client & Tenant Relations
Handle escalated tenant or owner issues professionally.
Ensure property owners receive timely communication and updates.
Support leasing and tenant retention initiatives.
Growth & Performance
Track KPIs such as property turn times, billing accuracy, client churn rate, days on market, closing ratio and client satisfaction.
Identify areas for efficiency and implement process improvements.
Support new property onboarding and business development goals.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in operations, or related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and property management best practices.
Financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, KPI tracking).
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with property management software and accounting software
