Business Operations Coordinator, Canada

Toronto, ON, CA, Canada

Job Description

Position Overview:

Are you a detail-driven problem solver who thrives on keeping operations running efficiently and smoothly? We're looking for a Business Operations Coordinator to join our Canadian team.

In this role, you'll be the central connector who keeps our business moving--ensuring that inventory, data, and logistics work in perfect harmony from supplier to customer. You'll collaborate closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to streamline processes, strengthen accuracy, and support ongoing growth.

If you enjoy creating structure, improving systems and working collaboratively to make a measurable impact, this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing:

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

Oversee end-to-end inventory operations--procurement, reconciliation, and compliance with Canadian regulations. Manage warehouse partners and logistics to ensure accurate, on-time product delivery. Forecast and plan inventory needs for promotions, launches, and seasonal programs. Maintain ERP cost models, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with pricing strategies. Lead inventory reconciliations, ECO fee compliance, and annual freight tendering to optimize cost and efficiency.

Project Management

Drive cross-functional projects that bring together Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. Track project timelines and deliverables, resolving bottlenecks and ensuring execution excellence. Promote transparency and accountability through clear communication and stakeholder alignment.

ERP & Data Management

Maintain master data accuracy across product, vendor, and financial records in ERP systems. Generate and analyze operational reports to support performance tracking and strategic decision-making. Ensure data standards and audit readiness through consistent data governance.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Reconcile purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments. Maintain vendor master data and monitor spend limits in accordance with company policies. Support cash postings, bank deposits, and credit checks to uphold financial integrity.

Customer Fulfillment & Internal Support

Provide backup support for fulfillment and internal teams, ensuring seamless operations during peak periods. Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to maintain exceptional service levels. Support administrative functions such as contract management and compliance tracking.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or logistics--ideally within consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing. 2+ years supporting sales operations, order processing, or customer service. Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 is an asset). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements. * Knowledge of Canadian regulatory compliance, environmental fees, and freight logistics.
