, market research, and working closely with leadership and technical teams to support informed decision-making and efficient project execution. You will collaborate with executives, project managers, engineers, consultants, utilities, and external partners to deliver insights that support strategic planning, project delivery, and business growth. This position is analytical and advisory in nature and does not involve direct staff supervision, budget authority, or sales quota responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Improvement & Systems Support
Review internal workflows and recommend improvements to reporting, documentation, and communication processes
Support implementation and use of digital tools and systems to enhance data accuracy and business intelligence
Develop templates, trackers, dashboards, and SOPs to improve organizational efficiency
Identify operational gaps and support cross-functional process improvements
2. Operational & Financial Analysis
Analyze operational and financial metrics such as construction progress, project costs, energy usage, utilization rates, and capacity forecasts
Prepare dashboards, analytical reports, and performance summaries to support executive decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across development, operations, and tenant service functions
Support internal stakeholders with data insights to improve project outcomes
3. Business Development Support
Support engagement with prospective and existing clients to understand operational and commercial requirements
Build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, including fibre providers, utilities, engineering consultants, contractors, municipalities, technology vendors, and investors
Assist with tenant opportunity assessments, pricing models, and proposal development
Prepare client-facing materials including proposals, LOIs, RFP responses, pricing summaries, capability decks, and market intelligence reports
Coordinate with internal teams (construction, engineering, telecom, finance) to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely proposal data
Support onboarding coordination and early-stage tenant engagement activities
Track partner inputs and commitments and support evaluation of new partnership opportunities
4. Project Coordination & Reporting
Track development project milestones, risks, dependencies, and timelines
Support project management through reporting, meeting summaries, action logs, and deliverable tracking
Coordinate with consultants, utilities, vendors, and contractors to maintain alignment with project requirements and schedules
Coordinate site tours, investor visits, and partnership meetings logistics
Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and updates
5. Market & Business Analysis
Research regional and national data center markets, including pricing, power availability, land supply, fibre infrastructure, and competitive landscape
Analyze industry trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic positioning and growth planning
Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI assessments for new data center development projects
Support long-term planning through benchmarking, market intelligence, and comparative analysis
Support evaluation of partnership opportunities through market research, data analysis, and performance tracking
6. Executive & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare presentations, briefing notes, summaries, and analytical materials for leadership, investors, and external partners
Participate in client, partner, and investor meetings to provide data insights, gather requirements, respond to inquiries, and ensure follow-up
Act as a consistent point of contact for information sharing and coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders
Coordinate information flow to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely decision-making
Maintain structured communication records and updates to support long-term stakeholder and relationship management
7. Research & Continuous Improvement
Conduct research on power rate structures, construction cost trends, land availability, fibre infrastructure, and regulatory considerations
Monitor industry partners, service providers, and ecosystem trends to support strategic planning
Stay current on best practices, innovations, and market developments relevant to data center development and operations
Recommend data-driven approaches to support long-term organizational growth and competitiveness
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in
Business, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems
, or a related field
Experience in
business analysis, operations, project coordination, or research
Experience in
construction, infrastructure, or data center projects
is an asset
Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills
Proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, and presentation tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment
Working Conditions
This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining on-site office work (located in Kamloops, BC.) with remote days.
Standard hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm
(30-minute unpaid break)
