The Business Manager is responsible for facilitating vehicle financing and insurance solutions while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves presenting tailored finance options, maintaining compliance with all legal regulations, and collaborating with internal teams and financial partners to drive revenue through value-added products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess customer financing needs and present a comprehensive menu of financing, insurance, and aftermarket product options that enhance the vehicle ownership experience.
Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused experience while achieving financial services and product sales targets.
Ensure full compliance with OMVIC, provincial, and federal laws in all transactions.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all finance and insurance products, extended warranties, and protection packages to guide customer decisions effectively.
Coordinate vehicle delivery logistics with Sales and Service departments, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently in line with company policies.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with lenders, banks, manufacturer finance centers, and vendors to provide timely and competitive financing solutions.
Process finance and lease applications, providing alternative options for customers requiring credit assistance or special approvals.
Support the Sales Team by training and advising Sales Consultants and Managers on available financing programs and business office products.
Uphold high standards of ethical conduct, prioritizing customer satisfaction and transparent communication at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive Financial Services or Business Office; Automotive Sales experience is an asset.
Sound understanding of provincial legislation, regulatory compliance, and current financial products.
Proven relationships with financial institutions and strong knowledge of finance and lease structures.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales performance goals.
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience.
Proficient in analyzing financial data with strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with experience in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with dealership management systems is an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
Education and Certifications:
College diploma or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
Background in business, marketing, math, or computer applications is beneficial.
