Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Forecast & Planning Analyst. This position is responsible for calculating capacity and loading forecasts for personnel, materials, and equipment. Analyse and interpret capacity requirements to ensure optimal resource utilization. Develop and communicate a resource and inventory management plan.


Your role

Drive and facilitate the Workload Forecast process by providing a resource workload forecast, production workload forecast and product demand forecast. Calculate available resource and production capacities. Calculate, analyse and interpret variances between available capacities and workload forecasts. Assist Customer Support to establish a demand model for repairs. Extend the Workload Forecast process to include capacities and loading calculations for equipment and the analysis of the variances. Facilitate the Product Pulse sessions. Implement a feedback loop to the Pre-Start Projects process. Implement a feedback loop to the Infrastructure Investments process. Implement a feedback loop to the Product Pulse sessions. Provide process and system (IFS ERP) support to Operations. Ensure alignment with Business Control and Inventory Management. Assist with Product Costing. Provide MRP (Material Requirements Planning) support for both the process and the system (IFS ERP). Be involved in continuous business improvement initiatives. Assist with IFS ERP upgrades and support.

Your profile


Specialist Knowledge Required:

MS Excel (advanced). ERP knowledge (IFS ERP will be an advantage). MRP (Material Requirements Planning) knowledge. APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) knowledge. Data visualization tools (Qlik Sense will be an advantage). Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL.

Practical Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years-experience in a similar environment.

Competencies:

Ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize production planning. Manufacturing knowledge. Project Management knowledge. Understanding of production cycles, supply chain dynamics, budgeting, and KPIs.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
