We are seeking a talented Business Development Specialist for a great long-term opportunity with a very stable organization! Position Summary: The Business Development Specialist will:

• Seeks and follows leads to acquire new business for the staffing agency.
• Seeks out hiring decision makers and develops working relationships with them.
• Designs and delivers presentations highlighting the products and services of staffing agency
• Negotiates contract terms with clients.
• Successfully closes sales.
• Works toward exceeding predetermined quotas set by his/her supervisor.
• Maintains contract with existing clients to obtain more business from them.

Position Responsibilities:

• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Resolves clients complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Conducts weekly quality checks with existing clients.

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:

• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Customer service system experience
• Strong customer orientation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Microsoft Word and Excel
• General computer skills such as internet browsing, email, database, etc.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (preferred)
