About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Programmatic Operations & Business Development, you will be responsible for supporting digital sales and external partners in day to day operations of the Strategic Partnerships and Syndication portfolio. You will help support cross functional groups to resolve all partnership issues in a timely manner. Maintain platform relationships and while growing Strategic Partnerships and Syndication ad sales across existing and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new strategic partnerships related to monetization of Corus digital content assets
  • Provide revenue analysis and forecast
  • Provide reporting and industry trends to Senior Manager of Programmatic Operations & Business Development
  • Manage and maintain existing relations and increase year over year revenue performance of partners such as Outbrain, Meta, Twitter etc
  • Develop and maintain syndication partnerships in order to monetize Corus video content outside of existing network
  • Work closely with external partners and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve any monetization issues and to ensure YOY growth
  • Provide reporting and ensure that revenue is collected accordingly to contracts
About You

What We Need From You:
  • 1-2 years experience in digital ad sales focused on business development and project management
  • Proficient in MS Office, expert in MS excel and Google spreadsheets (Drive) (pivot tables and graphs, complex formulas and macros)
  • Proactive, positive team member with strong interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate directly with partners and senior leaders at Corus.
  • Strong knowledge of computerized systems and various software programs from CMS, programming, billing to customer relationship management systems
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of other areas outside of own expertise (Example web development, legal, marketing strategies, sales strategies, management initiatives and visions)
  • Expertise within Canadian Online Advertising industry standards and policies, a recognized member at IAB committees
  • Maintain contemporary skills, training and knowledge of emerging revenue trends and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Background in revenue management and business development required
  • Strategic mind set with the ability to define and implement new product strategies and revenue opportunities
