Mac Distribution Center is a newly launched initiative from an organization with extensive experience in the sales, installation and service of residential and commercial garage doors in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon Territory. MacDC is the exclusive distributor of StarPro Doors in British Columbia and Yukon.
Position Summary
As a Sales Representative for our new overhead door distribution business, you will be responsible for growing our customer base in the Greater Vancouver Area, the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island by identifying, recruiting, and supporting garage door resellers and installation professionals--ranging from large-scale operations to small independent contractors. Your role will focus on establishing and nurturing long-term relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring our resellers are equipped to succeed with our product lines.
Business Development & Reseller Recruitment
- Identify and approach potential garage door resellers and installers (residential and commercial) within the assigned territory.
- Present the value proposition of carrying StarPro doors.
- Negotiate and execute reseller agreements.
Reseller Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned resellers, providing ongoing support and account management.
- Conduct regular check-ins, site visits, and performance reviews with resellers to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Act as a liaison between resellers and internal teams to address product, service, or logistics concerns.
Sales & Quoting
- Generate quotes and process orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Track sales performance against goals and provide regular reporting to management.
Product & Market Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our overhead door products and specifications.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and new opportunities in the residential and commercial segments.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on reseller needs, competitive pricing, and product gaps.
Trade Shows, Events & Outreach
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns and reseller training opportunities as needed.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in building materials, construction products, or garage doors.
- Knowledge of the overhead door industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with contractors, builders, and tradespeople.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with CRM systems and quoting tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation
- Base salary plus incentive program
