Wilride Transport Ltd. is looking for a high-energy Business Development Representative with experience in transportation sales, logistics, and freight brokerage. If you thrive in a fast-paced, sales environment and have a proven track record in inside sales, account management, and customer acquisition, we want to hear from you. Please note this is a Monday-Friday in-office position.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and acquire new clients for Wilride's freight, trucking, and logistics services.
Sell full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) solutions to businesses needing reliable transportation.
Manage and grow existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities.
Develop strong industry relationships within the trucking, freight brokerage, and logistics sectors.
Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure profitable margins while meeting client needs.
Achieve and exceed sales targets through cold calling, networking, and inbound lead follow-ups.
Work closely with dispatch and operations to ensure seamless service delivery for customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
1-2 years of experience in asset transportation sales, and freight brokerage.
Proven revenue generation success in inside sales.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management is a plus.
