The Role

Are you eager to accelerate your sales career? Branch is looking for a new Business Development Representative who\'s ready to shake up the enterprise office furniture space! This is an incredible opportunity to help build a multi-million dollar business line at a well-funded, fast paced startup with product market fit. If you\'ve got the flair for forging connections, a knack for sparking interest, and a passion for B2B sales, then you might just be what we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for.

Your mission: To be a trailblazer, scouting new business through dynamic outbound prospecting while seizing opportunities from our inbound leads. You\'re not just a sales powerhouse \xe2\x80\x93 you\'re a catalyst for growth!

This is a unique full-cycle B2B sales role where you\xe2\x80\x99ll fuel revenue growth for our enterprise business by engaging with prospects drawn in by our online buzz, while also venturing out to seek fresh enterprise prospects. You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate closely with our Growth team to ensure lead quality and partner with Operations to implement cutting-edge furniture solutions at new customer locations.

Armed with our winning sales playbook and a CRM at your fingertips, you\'ll conquer new business in diverse markets and segments. Reporting directly to our Head of Sales, you\'ll be responsible for individual revenue targets and appointment setting for the field sales force.

In your first ninety days at Branch, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

  • Learn the Branch value proposition and sales process.
  • Gain an understanding of our differentiators as they apply to product quality, operational excellence, customer service, inventory management, and delivering on customer needs.
  • Begin to forecast your own book of business to add to the overall growth of Branch throughout North America.
  • Develop your own approach to Enterprise customer acquisition and refine existing channel strategies targeting brokers, landlords, A&D stakeholders and end users.
  • Begin to qualify inbound leads and close inbound deals.
  • Work closely with our Enterprise Operations team to exceed customer expectations on the date of delivery.
  • Work with our Growth team on new enterprise-facing digital acquisition strategies.
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Passion: You have a genuine passion for sales and outbound prospecting. You\xe2\x80\x99re hungry to excel and be a top performer within a scaling organization.
  • Creative Problem Solver: You\xe2\x80\x99re known for being resourceful, always channeling your inner Lara Croft + MacGyver + Bear Grylls. You love coming up with creative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Self-Starter: You thrive when given the autonomy to complete projects and tasks.
  • All-Star Communicator: You have superlative written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious Learner: You have a strong bias for action and a thirst to learn.
  • CRM Experience: You\xe2\x80\x99re familiar with Hubspot, Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
Bonus Points
  • A love for furniture, design and the built environment
  • Past experience selling in the commercial real estate or furniture industries
  • Bilingual - Ability to speak, read and write French fluently
