Ask Blue J is a cutting-edge AI solution that helps our clients easily navigate complex tax laws - think of it as Chat GPT for tax. The market is excited about Ask Blue J, and so are we, and we\'re looking for a Business Development Representative to help us bring this to market.

We\'re looking for BDRs who are relatively early in their sales career who are excited about this rare opportunity to enter a huge, untapped market and make an immediate and significant impact. We\'re at an exciting stage in our growth, and we\'re looking forward to bringing on an enthusiastic, scrappy self-starter who can contribute meaningfully to our success.

Your role will involve working with leadership to develop territory strategies to \xe2\x80\x9ccold prospect\xe2\x80\x9d and generate qualified sales opportunities for Account Executives to negotiate and close.

You\'ll receive significant hands-on training and in-depth sales experience as we invest in your success with intentional professional development and support. What to Expect

  • We\'ll work closely with you during your onboarding to support you as you quickly ramp up on our processes and our market. By the end of onboarding you will have:
  • Developed a deep understanding of how Blue J delivers and adds value to our customers.
  • Learned the product and completed a successful presentation, discovery and demonstration for our prospects.
  • Learned cold calling and emailing tactics proven to be highly effective with top global professional services firms.
  • Overall, your role will involve:
  • Conducting both inbound and cold calls and emails to decision-makers at top law and accounting firms across North America.
  • Attending trade shows and conventions as needed - virtually or in person.
  • Effectively qualifying opportunities.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, moving prospects through lead, discovery and up to demonstration stages.
  • Maintaining LinkedIn presence, promoting marketing material and connecting with industry members.
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly KPI goals created by your leadership team which will include meeting and demonstrations scheduled, and new pipeline created.

$55,000 - $65,000 a year

OTE will range from $80k-$90k
