We have an Outside Sales Representative opportunity for you!
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to prospect and build partnerships with new clients while optimizing the existing customer base.
YOUR CHALLENGES

• Generate new business opportunities and develop customer relationships within a specific territory;
• Present the value of SPI's products and services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage existing clients and ensure increased sales and profitability;
• Grow market share and develop new profitable clients;
• Build and maintain customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals;
• Develop strategies and action plans, grow active and potential target accounts, and resolve issues;
• Promote our value-added solutions (products and services) to both new and existing accounts.

SPECIFIC SUCCESS MEASURES

• Revenue growth;
• Margin growth (in dollars and percentage);
• Growth in CPC (Customer Profitability Tool);
• New market share acquisition.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• University degree or equivalent experience;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience in occupational health and safety (OHS), ideally in a consulting capacity;
• Hunter mindset (new business development);
• Experience with indirect sales methods (e.g., managing sales agents or acting as a product specialist);
• Experience presenting to senior executives, in consultative selling, and using technology for decision-making;
• Experience with CRM software (strong asset);
• Valid driver's license;
• Ability to travel.
