Pipeline Generation:
Conduct in-depth market research to find new sales opportunities and potential partners.
Initiate contact through cold calls, emails, networking, and industry events to secure initial meetings.
Sales Process Management:
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring compliance with
vendor agreements
and
slotting fees
.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product samples, and pitch materials tailored to each channel's specific needs (e.g., shelf stability for grocery, bulk pricing for foodservice).
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with
category managers, buyers, and distributors
to ensure ongoing product placement and promotional support.
Coordinate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure successful product launch, inventory flow, and trade show participation.
