About the Role



The

Business Development Representative (BDR)

will play a pivotal role in growing Schooley Mitchell's client base by identifying and connecting with businesses that can benefit from our cost reduction consulting services. The BDR will focus on lead generation, prospect outreach, and qualification to create new opportunities for our consulting team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and wants to make an impact helping organizations save money and operate more efficiently. This is a new role in the company.

Key Responsibilities



Prospecting & Lead Generation



Research and identify potential clients across various industries that could benefit from cost savings. Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and CRM systems to build and manage a qualified pipeline. Execute targeted email and outreach campaigns to generate interest and secure introductory meetings. Support follow-up on inbound leads and trade show or referral opportunities.

Lead Qualification & Nurturing



Engage with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs and pain points. Qualify leads and schedule initial consultations for our cost reduction specialists. Maintain consistent communication with prospects through multiple touch points. Provide key insights and updates to the consulting team on lead status and engagement history.

Sales & Marketing Support



Collaborate with consultants to prepare for discovery calls, meetings, and proposal presentations. Assist with CRM management and data entry to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Help coordinate and follow up on marketing initiatives and campaigns. Track key metrics related to outreach, conversion rates, and lead progression.

Client Interaction & Brand Representation



Represent Schooley Mitchell at business events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects and referral partners. Convey the value proposition of Schooley Mitchell's cost reduction services confidently and clearly.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferred). New grads looking to grow in these career fields are welcome to apply Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident demeanour. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with prospecting and outreach tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo. Motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.

This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office two days each week, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
