Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Cloud-focused Business Development Representative (BDR) to support greenfield customer acquisition through outbound prospecting and joint go-to-market activities with AWS. This role blends hands-on outbound sales execution with campaign participation and pipeline ownership, working closely with internal sales, marketing, AWS stakeholders, and third-party agencies to generate and progress qualified opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for co-selling Cloud Adoption, Data & AI solutions with AWS, and should have a solid understanding of cloud technologies, data management, and AI solutions to effectively engage prospects and position our offerings.

Consistent creation and progression of greenfield pipeline Effective engagement of prospects through multi-channel outreach Accurate, timely pipeline reporting in both internal and AWS systems Strong collaboration with sales, marketing, AWS, and agency partners

Responsibilities:

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

Execute outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage target greenfield accounts Work with third-party demand generation agencies to support lead generation and follow-up activities Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding customer needs, challenges, and buying intent Clearly articulate the value of Cloud Adoption, Data & AI solutions to prospective customers Book discovery meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to account executives

Campaign Execution & Collaboration

Participate in and support co-sell and go-to-market campaigns with AWS, aligned to target industries and solutions Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, and AWS stakeholders to execute outreach motions and follow-ups Provide feedback on campaign performance and prospect engagement to help optimize future efforts

Pipeline Ownership & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline information for all greenfield opportunities, regardless of lead source Track leads, activities, and opportunity progression in Adastra's CRM and AWS Partner Central / AWS CRM Ensure strong pipeline hygiene, timely follow-ups, and accurate forecasting Provide regular pipeline and activity reporting to internal teams and AWS stakeholders

Account & Market Research

Research target accounts, industries, and buying signals to personalize outreach Stay current on cloud, data, and AI trends, AWS offerings, and competitive landscape to improve prospect conversations

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role Proven ability to conduct multi-channel outbound prospecting, including phone-based outreach Good understanding of cloud technologies, data management, and AI solutions Comfort working with CRM systems and maintaining detailed pipeline data Experience supporting or working alongside partners, agencies, or channel teams is a plus Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across teams Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)

Good understanding of tools like zoominfo and hubspot
