With more than 45 years in the industry, we are expanding our commercial team and seeking a driven Business Development Representative.
Job Overview
The Business Development Representative will focus on generating new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and supporting the full sales cycle using CRM-based tracking and reporting. This is a growth-focused role that requires disciplined pipeline management and consistent customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business across energy, construction, industrial, manufacturing, modular building, and infrastructure sectors
Build strong client relationships through calls, meetings, site visits, and follow-up
Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and management to scope accurate transport solutions
Maintain all sales activity, leads, opportunities, and account notes in the CRM with high accuracy
Produce regular CRM-driven reports for leadership, including pipeline status, activity summaries, and forecast updates
Track customer trends, market opportunities, and competitor activity within the CRM
Support marketing initiatives, presentations, and onboarding of new customers
Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to cultivate new leads
Qualifications
2-5 years of business development or sales experience (transportation, heavy haul, logistics, or industrial service sectors preferred)
Strong understanding of CRM platforms and disciplined pipeline management
Experience quoting transportation or project-based work is an asset
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Valid Class 5 driver's license; clean abstract preferred
