The Position
??The Business Development Partner collaborates closely with the Financial Solutions Senior Leadership team to spearhead partnership opportunities and amplify the brand's reach. This role is essential in connecting with an increasing number of Canadians to offer effective solutions for their debt challenges. The Business Development Partner focuses on driving revenue growth through the creation of strategic partnerships and requires the ability to travel throughout Alberta if needed (primarily Calgary & Edmonton). ?
Key Accountabilities
Accountability 1:
?Business to Business Development (B2B)?
??Generate profitable growth for the firm through the development of a referral partnership network
?Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with strategic partners.
?Proactively manage key accounts ensuring values are aligned.
?Accountable to the organization's KPIs and driving business referrals.?
Accountability 2:
?Communication and Collaboration?
??Communicate effectively and professionally with strategic partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
?Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve business development goals.
?Provide insights and feedback to the Financial Solutions SeniorLeadership teamand other team members.?
Education, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum 2-3 years ????experience in marketing, business development, auto finance, sales, or related field.
Bachelors Degree (4 year program) or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence others to act
Proven experience in public speaking, presenting and cold calling
Demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve results
Experience with CRM software and maintenance of business development contacts
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects simultaneously
Ability to multi-task, self-direct, and manage time effectively
Strong computer literacy, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to connect virtually or in person and drive growth with strategic partners
