The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing brokerage partnerships to support Zolo's strategic growth. This role focuses on the tactical execution of sales strategies that maximize profitability through referral networks and cross-selling integrations.
Operating in an entrepreneurial and high-visibility environment, Business Development Manager is a results-driven individual contributor who will translate Zolo's growth pillars into tangible results. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle--from lead generation to account management--leveraging our massive platform reach to build a legacy in the Canadian market.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Focusing on three critical areas of growth, with performance measured against specific quarterly KPIs:
1. Brokerage Referral Network Development:
Proactively identifying and onboarding external brokerage partners into Zolo's referral network.
Executing the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to the signing of referral agreements, to expand national coverage.
2. Corporate Integration Execution:
Serving as the lead point of contact for implementing Zolo's brokerage value proposition into the platforms of cross-selling partners.
Collaborating with Product teams to ensure commercial feasibility and seamless technical alignment.
3. Ad-Product Sales & Monetization:
Driving immediate revenue by selling innovative ad products and visibility packages to cross-selling partners.
Leveraging Zolo's 10M+ monthly property seekers to provide targeted data-driven solutions for partners.

Have 5+ years of experience in a full sales cycle process
Have proven track record in meeting and exceeding established sales / revenue targets
Have demonstrated ability to build and foster partner relationships with high professionalism
Have strong knowledge of Google Suite applications and ability to navigate technical roadmaps with product teams
Are tactful, diplomatic, and politely persistent with a "builder" mindset
Have superior relationship management and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and scale a high-volume brokerage referral network
Have strong negotiation and planning skills to drive the full sales cycle for corporate integrations and ad-product contracts
Have a solid commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the Canadian real estate brokerage landscape and the monetization of high-traffic digital platforms
Understand product collaboration with strategic ability to translate partner requirements into actionable commercial roadmaps with the Product team
Are a performance driven, results-oriented high achiever who excels in a target-driven environment with a high-variable compensation structure
Are self-motivated and disciplined in managing multiple sales funnels while meeting stringent quarterly revenue and onboarding deadlines
Are highly professional and operate with a highest level of business communication skills and integrity, ensuring all partnerships meet Zolo and QFG standards
Are able to travel within Canada
Compensation Information:
Base salary: $70,000 + Commission
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
