Anderson Vacations is seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role focuses on strengthening our relationships with travel agencies and consortia across Canada, particularly in Western Canada and Ontario. We are expanding our B2B presence as part of our 2026 Sales & Marketing Strategy.

The Role



Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will:

Build and maintain relationships with key travel consortia and agencies. Develop and execute a national sales plan aligned with company goals. Conduct targeted agency visits, calls, or virtual meetings per month. Attend trade shows, conferences, and events to promote Anderson Vacations. Provide regular sales reporting and contribute to quarterly reviews.

You Are



Experienced in travel or tourism sales (3-5 years as a minimum). A strong communicator and relationship builder. Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven. You are a travel enthusiast with boundless energy and a strong work ethic. You thrive in fast-paced environments, handling multiple tasks under pressure. You have strong organizational skills and great attention to detail. Comfortable working remotely and travelling across Canada.

Qualifications



Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management in the Travel Industry preferred. Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry, particularly in North America. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and develop strategic growth plans. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and relevant digital tools. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to travel for business purposes and attend industry events. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field is an asset.

Requirements



Knowledge of Canada as a travel destination. Legal work status in Canada (a valid Work Permit, Permanent Resident or Citizen).
