The Role: Your Mission
We need a dedicated
Business Development Hunter
--not a farmer--to rapidly expand our B2C and B2B reach across Canada and the USA. You will be responsible for creating and closing new revenue streams by connecting with high-value prospects who demand the best in art supports.
Key Responsibilities:
Aggressive Prospecting:
Proactively identify, target, and initiate contact with prospective
artists, art galleries, art schools, framing shops, and art supply stores
(B2B and B2C enterprise opportunities).
Full-Cycle Sales:
Manage the sales process from initial cold outreach and qualification through to closing the deal and ensuring a smooth transition to the account management team.
Pipeline Management:
Utilize CRM tools to build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, forecasting accurately and consistently hitting quarterly and annual sales targets.
Market Strategy:
Conduct research to identify emerging markets and product opportunities where Upper Canada Stretchers can establish a foothold.
Relationship Building:
Act as an ambassador for the brand, embodying our commitment to quality, precision, and customer care.
What You Bring
We can teach you the nuances of art supports, but we cannot teach the drive for sales.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of successful B2B Business Development/Sales experience
with a verifiable track record of exceeding quota and landing new accounts an asset!
A

--you are driven, comfortable with cold outreach (phone, email, social), and possess a strong desire to win new business.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the
premium value
of a specialized product.
Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote sales environment, managing a large territory (Canada/USA).
High proficiency with CRM software (e.g monday.com) and sales tools.
A Strong Asset:
A background, education, or deep interest in Fine Arts, Framing, or the Creative Arts community.
Location near our
Owen Sound, ON
manufacturing facility for occasional team meetings and deeper product immersion.
