Key Responsibilities:
Lead Conversion & Relationship Building
Engage and nurture inbound leads, guiding them through the sales funnel and converting them into active clients.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with NRIs and Global Indians across Ontario.
Outbound Business Development
Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and partnerships.
Expand Remittor's reach by engaging with key communities, associations, and industry events, including community gatherings, NRI organizations, and partnerships with local Indian realtors.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and executing regional growth strategies.
Provide insights on customer needs and market trends to shape product offerings and go-to-market strategies.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client journey.
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on lead conversions, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
What We're Looking For:
Proven 3-6 years of experience in
business development, sales, or relationship management
(preferably in fintech, financial services, retail banking or wealth management).
Strong ability to
convert inbound leads
and execute effective outbound prospecting.
The ideal candidate isn't just great at sales, they genuinely enjoy helping others make informed decisions.
Excellent
negotiation and interpersonal skills
, with a client-first mindset.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Proactive in following up, building local networks, and maintaining consistent communication without reminders.
Solid understanding of NRI/Global Indian financial needs and diaspora dynamics is required.
Willingness to travel within Eastern Canada for client meetings, networking, and events.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi or other Indian regional languages required.

Compensation:
The expected OTE range for this role is
$120,000 - $150,000 CAD
. The OTE figure listed here includes a competitive base salary and potential commissions.
