Job Description


On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

My client has been in business for over 20 years and is a leading Canadian insurance company that provides liability insurance to private practice lawyers. They provide their clients with title insurance and legal service coverage for residential home purchases. They are looking for a driven and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team.

About the role:

  • You will be responsible for developing net new business
  • You will be selling the insurance coverage directly to private practice lawyers
  • Hybrid role - expected to visit clients in person
  • You will be expected to meet and exceed all sales targets
About you:
  • College/University degree
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, selling in the legal space
  • An insurance or legal services background is considered an asset
  • Strong business acumen In real estate is considered an asset
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and develop relationships
