We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact in the community.

Job Summary



In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our organization. You will possess a blend of strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and project management expertise to effectively navigate the competitive landscape. You will be passionate about senior care, results-oriented, and skilled in relationship management, sales strategy, and local marketing.

Key Responsibilities:



Referral Source Development:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, physician offices, senior living communities, discharge planners, wealth managers, and business partners. Represent Comfort Keepers at local networking events, health fairs, chamber meetings, and professional associations. Implement B2B strategies aligned with the Comfort Keepers LinkedIn and outreach best practices.
Client Acquisition & Sales Strategy:

Drive local lead generation through targeted outreach and follow-up with adult children, and both non-medical and medical referral sources. Track key sales funnel metrics (inquiry-to-assessment and inquiry-to-admission ratios) and convert prospects into active clients. Collaborate with the marketing team and/or agency partners to optimize client conversion campaigns.
Community & Brand Representation:

Serve as the face of Comfort Keepers in community initiatives, events, senior expos, veteran events, and aging network groups. Partner with organizations aligned with aging in place, dementia support, and caregiving. Ensure all efforts reflect the Elevating the Human Spirit brand promise and support pillars.
Reporting, KPIs & Collaboration:

Maintain a referral source database and CRM; report on lead pipeline and referral partners. Collaborate with operations and care teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and high satisfaction. Use key insights to strategize and align growth goals with territory performance

Qualifications:



Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the healthcare or senior care industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Post secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of senior care services, healthcare systems, and local market dynamics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Requires Criminal background check

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
