We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our market presence on a commission based contract for an initial 3-month probationary period. Successful candidates who meet companies expectations will be transitioned into a full-time, salaried, permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing innovative strategies to drive revenue. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing principles. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future growth trajectory.
Duties
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including negotiations and contract management.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support business growth objectives.
Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for management review including RFP / RFQ documents.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic planning.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within a similar industry (Security industry considered an Asset).
Strong proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
Excellent skills in negotiation, strategic planning, and project management.
Ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
Knowledge of industry-specific market trends and customer needs.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
During First 3 Months (Commission-Based):
Commission-based earnings (based on performance)
$150 monthly gas allowance
4 working days per week
1 company-provided meal per working day
After Successful 3-Month Period:
Transition to
