Avirra is an engineering firm specializing in sustainable, energy-efficient solutions for buildings. We help property owners, managers, and institutions improve performance, reduce costs, and lower environmental impact.We are seeking a driven and bilingual Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm's overall growth strategy.

Duties

Identify and develop new business opportunities with property managers, building owners, institutions, and other potential clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. Conduct outreach (calls, meetings, presentations) to promote Avirra's engineering and energy-efficiency services. Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare proposals and deliver tailored solutions. Monitor industry trends, government programs, and incentive opportunities to align with client needs. Represent Avirra at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences. Track and report on sales activities using CRM tools.

Experience

Bilingual (English & French) - written and spoken. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (travel to client sites is required). Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in engineering, construction, or energy-efficiency sectors is an asset). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
