We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to assist in expanding our client base and establishing strong relationships with referral sources and healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the senior care market, including retirement homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and long-term care facilities.
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including doctors, clinics, hospitals, and community organizations.
Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and establish partnerships.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
Conduct presentations and informational sessions to educate potential clients and referral sources about our services and benefits.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the senior care market and healthcare system in Calgary is an asset.
Valid driver\'s license and access to a vehicle.
