A young engineering firm is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our thriving business development team. The successful candidate will have proven sales experience, be a team player, possess excellent communication skills and perform internal processing of incoming client RFPs (Request for Proposals). As the successful candidate, you must be comfortable creating target lists, prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. This includes exploring client needs, describing suitable products, and communicating the unique value provided by the company.
The ideal candidate has experience in business development, sourcing new opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. This includes having the proven ability to build and develop a base of clients "from scratch".
