Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven
Business Development Manager
to lead our growth and diversification strategy across multiple industries. The ideal candidate is an energetic and connected professional with experience in
industrial automation, robotics integration, or technical staffing
, capable of building relationships with key decision-makers and identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our footprint across
Automotive, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Packaging, and General Manufacturing sectors
.
Identify, qualify, and secure new clients -- including
System Integrators
,
OEMs
, and
End Users
requiring automation solutions or skilled technical manpower.
Collaborate with internal engineering and recruitment teams to deliver customized service offerings that align with client needs.
Promote company services including
robot programming, PLC/controls integration, and automation engineering manpower solutions
.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, trust, and performance excellence.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations to showcase T Dot Automation's capabilities.
Stay informed on emerging automation technologies, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
Attend
industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
to promote T Dot Automation's capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
(preferred).
3+ years of experience in
business development, technical sales, or account management
within the
automation, robotics, or industrial manufacturing
space would be preferred.
Strong understanding of
robotics integration, PLC controls, and factory automation systems
.
Proven ability to penetrate new markets and establish relationships within diverse industries.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive measurable results.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Familiarity with marketing principles and practices that drive customer engagement.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for managing client interactions and sales processes.
Willingness to travel within Canada and occasionally to the U.S.
