Position Overview
We're seeking a motivated
Business Development Manager / Account Manager
to join our leadership team. This position combines
sales strategy, client management, and project coordination
-- ideal for someone with a solid understanding of HVAC or mechanical systems and a passion for developing new business opportunities.
You'll work closely with our management and estimating teams to identify new clients, manage existing relationships, and ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across service, retrofit, and construction sectors.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and partners.
Lead the preparation of proposals and bids, including scope review and pricing coordination.
Collaborate with project managers and field staff to ensure client expectations are met.
Attend industry events and networking functions to promote Fortius Mechanical.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports using internal CRM systems.
Provide input on market trends, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC sales, or related fields.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems.
Proven success in business development or account management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Valid BC driver's license.
