Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Position Overview:

A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Business Development Representative. Think hunter! You will be tasked with creating COI's, generting leads both in and out of our book of business and achieving monthly and quarterly performance targets. Based upon your activities and achieving agreed expectations, we will support you with a back up team to insure your success, as well as and financially. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Ideally you bring industry or sales experience

Responsibilities:

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service as needed, yet maintain a focus on business development activities. Identify and build relationships in order to keep your sales pipeline active Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening Proactive in problem-solving Dedicated to being responsive Ability to multi-task Ability to make presentations to potential customers Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain) LLQP license (preferred/must be able to optain)
