Position Overview



The

Business Development & Sales Representative

will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships, and delivering tailored AV solutions. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong understanding of solution-based selling and a passion for innovation and technology.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, events, and strategic outreach.

Client Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

Solution-Based Selling:

Collaborate with clients to assess their AV needs and propose customized solutions that deliver value.

Sales Process Management:

Oversee the entire sales cycle -- from lead generation and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closing.

Proposal & Quoting:

Prepare and present detailed quotes and proposals, working closely with the technical team to ensure solutions meet specifications.

Market & Industry Research:

Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position Mirage AV effectively.

Performance Tracking:

Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, reporting progress and insights to leadership.

Marketing & Content Support:

Contribute to promotional initiatives by creating engaging content for marketing campaigns, website, and social media platforms.

Qualifications



Minimum

2+ years of B2B sales experience

, preferably in AV, IT, construction, or related technical industries. Proven ability to develop and execute business and market strategies to achieve sales targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, and visual). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and close deals. Passion for customer service and a solution-oriented mindset. Analytical and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems. Valid Class G driver's license.
