vbs apparel provides teams, clubs, and businesses across Canada with high-quality uniforms and custom apparel. We're looking for a Business Development Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our growing business development department.
About the Role
The Business Development Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and organizational support to the Business Development team. This role helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing communications, coordinating meetings, maintaining client records, and assisting with proposals and reports. The role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support the growth initiatives of the business.
What You'll Do
Provide administrative support to the Business Development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
Keep client and prospect information organized and up to date in our contact and tracking systems.
Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, reports, and other business development materials.
Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely follow-ups with clients and prospects.
Support in tracking leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities.
Conduct light research on industry trends, prospects, and competitors to support business development efforts.
Manage expense reports, invoices, and other administrative documents related to the department.
Assist in planning and coordinating business development events, client meetings, or trade shows.
Provide general office and clerical support to ensure efficiency within the department.
Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
1-2 years of administrative or office support experience (experience in sales/business development support is an asset).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
Strong sense of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability.
