Loft Immigration is a boutique immigration firm with over 40 years of team experience in Canadian immigration. We specialize in Canada Business Immigration, LMIA Applications, Work Permit, Study Permit, PR Applications and a few other pathways to Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify suitable businesses for intending buyers based on their skills and experience.
• Provide independent and objective valuations of businesses, securities, intangible assets, and other assets for purposes such as mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax planning, litigation support, and strategic planning.
• Conduct financial analysis of businesses and assets to identify strengths, weaknesses, trends, and opportunities.
• Perform due diligence on businesses and assets to identify risks and opportunities, including assessing financial statements, management structures, market conditions, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft business plans that meet LMIA and work permit application requirements.
• Liaise with business brokers and business plan writers to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Communicate with clients and provide guidance on business selection, appraisal, and business plan development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
• Oversee and manage the company\'s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage the processing of payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Develop and monitor the company\'s budget, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Manage tax compliance and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation an asset.
• At least two years of experience in business consulting, financial analysis, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Familiarity with immigration processes and regulations is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift

Salary: $45,000 - $52,000 (CAD) per year (see benefits below)
