Ø Promote Courier/Air Freight Services to Existing Client Base
Ø Develop a Strategy to identify/retain customers both in Canada and Internationally
Ø Responsible to achieve and maintain profitability of services
Ø Identify and Solicit new clients for import/export courier/air freight services to Canada and Vietnam Markets
Ø Conduct sales presentations to potential/existing clients regarding benefits and applications of the services and preparation of required sales contracts.
Ø Provide clients with timely price quotation and estimated delivery dates
Ø Knowledge of complexities of international clearance shipments
Ø Completion of all required documents for both outbound and inbound shipments
Ø Review and adaptation to customs regulations in Canada and Vietnam
Ø Professional guidance to companies that export and import to and from Vietnam/Canada
Ø Experience in completion of internet-based sales transactions relating to conveyance of shipments
Ø Potential to supervise other sales representatives as service expands
Ø Advise company owner on additional markets that may be compatible with Canada/NB market
Ø Develop and maintain a system of customer follow up
Ø Provide timely reports to company management regarding the status of the services
Position(s) Requirements:
Ø University degree or completion of a college program
Ø Minimum of 5 years experience at a senior level in the courier/air freight forwarding sales
Ø Minimum of 5 years experience in business development in the courier/air freight forwarding sales
Ø International experience as above in the Vietnam/Canadian market is required
Ø Demonstrated experience in package handling and document preparation
Ø Supervisory experience in the courier/air freight forwarding business is an asset
Ø Fluency in English required. Fluency in Vietnamese and other international languages is considered an asset
Ø Ability to work internationally
