Business Analyst, Sales & Revenue

Job Description

Rally is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst, Sales & Revenue, responsible for analyzing sales performance, revenue trends, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights that support business growth. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure sales targets are achievable, revenue forecasts are accurate, and strategic initiatives are data-driven.



Key Responsibilities



Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to drive informed decision-making, monitor

program performance and uncover new opportunities for growth

Develop dashboards and regular reporting on KPIs including sales performance, pipeline

velocity, customer acquisition costs, churn, and revenue forecasts.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support forecasting, planning, and

performance tracking.

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies, product mix, sales

incentives, and revenue channels.

Support the implementation of sales performance metrics, quotas, and compensation

modeling.

Identify and recommend process improvements across the lead-to-cash cycle. Monitor and evaluate sales campaigns and initiatives to assess ROI and effectiveness. Support CRM and data hygiene efforts to ensure high-quality data integrity for reporting. Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities related to revenue. Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business cases and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. MBA

or equivalent is an asset.

3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in sales operations, revenue

operations, or financial planning.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel and data visualization

tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot. Power BI) and ERP

systems.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
