General Duties:
Support the software development team.
Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
Identify business work flows and determine stakeholder needs.
Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.
Service New Brunswick (SNB) requires an experienced Scrum Master/Senior Business Analyst to join the NBHC - Loans Project team.
As a Scrum Master/Senior Business Analyst, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:
Working with the HNB Loans Project Team, multiple government departments, and the external vendor to implement a solution to provide scanning and document management to be used in conjunction with the existing HNB solution.
Analyzing the options currently identified as well as other potential options used both within GNB and externally.
Leading facilitated sessions to gather content, document and obtain consensus for the scanning/document management solution.
Identifying issues and risks for the proposed approach.
Using an Agile/Scrum approach to track the backlog items to be completed to implement the solution in the existing DevOps project including:
Creating User Stories
Tracking Bugs
Managing work in Sprints
Attending Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Developing a working knowledge of HNB COTS solution.
Working with the Records Management Team to ensure the scanning/document management solution integrates successfully with their processes.
Working with the Quality Assurance Team(s) to ensure testing of the scanning/document management solution is successful.
Working with the Trainer/Change Manager to ensure any training regarding the scanning/document management is successful.
Collaborating with the project team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Assisting the HNB Loans Project Team with the deployment of the solution to production.
Attending other working group meetings as required.
Assisting in the creation of how to documents, SOPs and other supporting documents.
Conducting other Business Analyst tasks as required.
