We bring a world of possibilities to our customers and the best of TELUS to the connected world.As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with sales account primes, product managers, and the TPS leadership team to provide in-depth analysis of service revenue and cost trends. Your insights will support critical business decisions and help us achieve our financial objectives.But it doesn\'t stop there. We\'re looking for someone who is not only comfortable with analytical methodologies and tools but also possesses strong communication skills. Your ability to effectively communicate your findings, both verbally and in writing, will be crucial in shaping our constantly evolving business decisions.To excel in this role, you will need to understand or be willing to learn how to use SalesForce, as well as TELUS\' various billing systems and reporting databases. Additionally, you will play a vital role in interpreting legal contracts to ensure accurate tracking of our customers\' commitments to TELUS.As a successful candidate, you will be a strong analytical contributor who takes initiative. You will consistently apply your communication, analytical, project management, and relationship skills to explain business performance and help us meet our financial objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and reporting of monthly and quarterly operational performance metrics and drivers, enhancing business understanding and decision-making.
  • Produce and communicate monthly operational results within specified timelines.
  • Develop ongoing trend analysis of revenue and cost reporting for the customer/supplier negotiating team.
  • Implement and manage contractual obligations of customers, ensuring contract success reporting.
  • Initiate projects to enhance sales or reduce costs based on operational analysis findings.
  • Support the development of strategic, account, and business plans.
What you bringRequired Knowledge:
  • 2 + years experience of business analysis methodologies, financial reporting and business statistics
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry, including market and regulatory dynamics
  • Knowledge continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong Google applications knowledge
  • Good understanding of TELUS solutions set
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and bring to closure a significant number of initiatives simultaneously
  • Passion for excellence, strong work ethic and solutions-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and ever-changing environment - comfortable with managing ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build closely with multiple personality types
  • Action-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ability to respond proactively to business needs
  • Ability to interact with all levels of TELUS Team members to enable you to obtain support for, and contributions to pre-sales and post sales customer issue resolution
  • Display a high degree of integrity in handling confidential information
  • Proficiency with PC applications (Google applications in particular Google Sheets and Google Slides); Above average knowledge required
  • Macro and modeling experience an asset
  • Knowledge of Power BI a strong asset
  • Bilingual English and French, (Not mandatory, but considered an asset)
Required Professional Designation/Certification:University degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent#LI-REMOTESalary Range: $62,000-$94,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
