About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with Product Managers and Project Managers to ensure customer needs are effectively translated into product features and customization requests. This role involves business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and quality assurance (QA)--supporting our agile development lifecycle from ideation to release.
Key Responsibilities
Product Feature Development & Requirements Alignment
Collaborate with the Product Manager to analyze customer requests and align them into single, well-defined features.
Review customer feedback and Jira tickets to identify common trends and ensure feature alignment across the product roadmap.
Conduct customer interviews and research to validate requirements before development begins.
Work with Scrum teams to translate customer needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Customization Requests & Project Scope Definition
Work with Project Managers to define the scope of customization requests (CRs) and ensure they align with customer expectations.
Gather and document customer-specific requirements for enhancements and integrations.
Assist in evaluating the feasibility of customizations and ensuring alignment with existing product capabilities.
Develop detailed functional specifications and process flows for CRs.
Product Documentation & Support
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specs, workflows, and user stories.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and work with stakeholders to ensure feature readiness.
Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs for internal teams and customers.
Quality Assurance & Testing
Define and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and enhancements.
Identify, track, and document defects and usability issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Work closely with developers and Product Managers to improve the overall usability and performance of our solutions.
Agile Collaboration
Participate in Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives to ensure requirements are well-defined.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
Continuously improve our BA processes to enhance product efficiency and responsiveness.
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
? 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and quality assurance.
? Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working within cross-functional teams.
? Experience with requirement documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
? Familiarity with testing tools and QA methodologies.
? Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in the education technology sector.
? Familiarity with frontend frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
? Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and database technologies.
? Experience with big data solutions and analytics.
