Job Summary:



Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst and drive impactful change in our business technology ecosystem. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on solution architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial business processes, particularly in relation to CRM platforms and related business applications. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Technology, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver technical architecture that aligns with business goals. This role offers an opportunity to deliver transformative projects and work alongside the broader IT team in advancing SMART's technology ecosystem, driving business growth and enhancing operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:



Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define business needs, goals, and requirements. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, test scripts and process maps. Partner with functional analysts, system administrators, project managers, developer, and stakeholders to ensure clear, well-communicated and realized requirements. Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications and ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency initiatives Lead and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and cross-functional team meetings. Assist in developing and coordinating validation exercises and test plans to ensure system functionality meets business requirements. Manage stakeholder expectations by keeping them informed of project scope, progress, and deliverables. Support change management efforts by working with systems administrators to deliver user training, communications, and supporting documentation for seamless implementations. Identify risks and inefficiencies in business processes and systems, proactively recommending and implementing solutions. Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify and drive operational improvements. Deliver solutions that align with best practices for both system functionality and business process optimization

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, including demonstrated leadership in project-driven environments Experience CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) including workflow automation, systems integrations and process optimization. Strong background in business process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions. Proven success in delivering complex projects and driving strategic initiatives that improve business operations and efficiency. Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum and backlog management using platforms such as Azure Dev Ops, ClickUp, or Jira. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify ineffic9ences and propose innovative solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, working in fact-paces and evolving environments. Proficiency in business analysis tools for documentation, modeling and reporting. Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
