Job Window: Currently hiring for: 2 shifts per week until January and 2 to 5 shifts per week starting March

We are looking to hire staff to immediately start leading our Day and Evening Tours (approximately 12 to 14 hour shifts starting at either 10:30 AM or 11:30 AM) Looking for someone who can work 2 to 5 shifts per week MUST be able to provide a Letter of Experience from a previous bus insurance policy showing three or more years of driving experience; you will not be insurable without this Paid training included, you should be comfortable organizing a group of 20 to 30 people and providing commentary, taking their photos, etc.

Schedule (example):



11:30 AM: North York to pick-up bus and then pick up people from Downtown Toronto 1:30 PM: Depart Downtown Toronto to Niagara 4:00 - 10:15 PM: Organizing activities in Niagara Falls, some break time 10:15 - 12:45 AM: Drop off and finish your day back in North York

Responsibilities and Duties include:



Drive the bus safely and in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act (including completing your daily inspection every morning) Manage customer questions during the tour Share knowledge about Toronto and Niagara Falls with live commentary during the bus ride, in a fun and engaging way, and then in Niagara Falls Be accountable for passenger safety and communicate with them by text/call when needed Clean the bus at the end of the day (sweep floors, windex windows)

Qualifications and Skills:



Must have a valid bus driving license (C or higher required) Minimum 3 years of commercial bus driving experience in Canada and the ability to get a letter of experience from a previous insurer(required) Clean driver's abstract with no major infractions: a current copy of your driver's abstract will be requested (required) Must be fluent and clear in spoken English, other languages a bonus Reference will be requested from a previous employer

Compensation:



$300 - $350 per shift in base pay Anywhere from $50 to $250 in additional gratuities and bonuses per day
