Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain a safe and clean vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the bus according to established routes and schedules. Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes. Maintain the bus in good working condition by performing routine inspections and basic mechanical maintenance. Keep the interior and exterior of the bus clean and presentable. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Clean Driver's Abstract. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Proven customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the bus. Ability to maintain a clean driving record. Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
