We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Burrito Roller to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each burrito is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

Prepare and roll burritos with attention to detail, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping ingredients and assembling other menu items. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation and handling, with knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices and kitchen experience is beneficial.
