Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief/Deputy Invigilators, the Bundling Office Assistant is responsible for preparing and organizing exam materials for each exam space, ensuring that all materials are accurately compiled and distributed.
Duties and Responsibilities:Photocopying, counting, and organizing exams, booklets, and multiple-choice answer sheets.
Collating and bundling exam materials by exam session, ensuring accurate distribution to invigilators.
Keeping detailed records of all materials allocated to each exam, including the number of exams, booklets, and answer sheets.
Moving boxes of paper supplies (such as exam booklets) using dollies, ensuring safe handling and organization.
Performing general office duties as required.
Period of Employment:November 17th to December 19th, 2025 (with the possibility of an earlier end date).
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
Strong attention to detail, particularly when preparing and bundling exam materials. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Punctuality and availability for the full duration of employment are essential. Able to lift and transport heavy materials, such as boxes of exam booklets, safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as part of a team, and to communicate clearly with colleagues, invigilators, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 2 on a scale of 1-4.
