Muwin Estate / Bulwark Craft Ciders is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative assistant restaurant manager. The primary focus of this position is managing the day-to-day operations of the taproom and retail store. This position is fast-paced, extremely engaging, and very social in nature. The successful candidate must be outgoing in order to create and maintain memorable and exciting experiences for Bulwark supporters; organizational skills to efficiently lead a growing retail team; strong leadership qualities; and a strong ability to communicate with others. This role is a full-time hourly position. Reports to Retail/Restaurant Manager. Responsibilities will include: \xe2\x97\x8f Responsible body on-site \xe2\x97\x8f Bi-weekly meetings with staff \xe2\x97\x8f Supervise the daily operations of taproom and retail store \xe2\x97\x8f Staff education exercises (cider tastings, on-site events, programming) \xe2\x97\x8f Daily Cash Out - tips reports \xe2\x97\x8f Reporting of daily, weekly and monthly retail store activities to Manager \xe2\x97\x8f Inventory Management and reconciliation \xe2\x80\x93 daily reports (supplies/product/promotional) \xe2\x97\x8f Contribute to the taproom and store social media channels Key Requirements: \xe2\x97\x8f Passion for all things Craft with a focus on customer service \xe2\x97\x8f 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a retail and/or restaurant environment \xe2\x97\x8f History of building strong long-lasting relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders and partners \xe2\x97\x8f Strong computer skills and knowledge (Google, Word, Excel, Drive) \xe2\x97\x8f Supervisory experience in a taproom, restaurant and/or retail environment \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and oral communication skills \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work alone independently and within a team environment \xe2\x97\x8f Working knowledge of FIFO, inventory and customer service. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work days, evenings and weekends \xe2\x97\x8f Flexible abilities in hospitality, service, bar, kitchen and retail environment an asset \xe2\x97\x8f Willing to learn and thrive in any environment or situation \xe2\x97\x8f Full driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is an asset Physical Requirements: \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
