As a Bulk Plant Operator, you will ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Irving Energy Bulk Plants by looking after inventory stock balancing, terminal access, maintenance and the daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks assigned to you. Your goal will be to supervise product movement and acting as customer support for our Drivers while ensuring a safe and efficient operation of Irving Oil's bulk plant facilities. Your success will depend on your ability to oversee loading and unloading of various delivery vehicles and products as well as ensuring the facility is operating safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:Perform Inventory Stock Balancing, Staff/Customer/Vendor entry to Irving Oil bulk plants, and perform customer & internal Driver Support
Travel to multiple bulk plants on a weekly basis
generate & Complete work orders on the e-Maintenance program
Facilitate bulk plant orientation sessions as required
Completion of all bulk plant operations checklist actions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Supervise product movements and the loading as well as unloading of truck and rail deliveries
Supervise 3rd party contractors while they are performing work at bulk plants
Fill out & complete all necessary Job Safety Analyses, work permits, & other documentation for work conducted at terminals
Perform physical labour tasks such as safely lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing stairs & Ladders up to 50 ft
Identify and report hazards, prioritize accordingly, and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Your Skills:Computer literacy skills
Must be comfortable to work around high voltage and rotating equipment while wearing all required PPE
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be safety focused and mechanically inclined
Critical thinking
Must have valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean 10-year abstract
Your Experience:High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years experience in material handling or related industry experience
Oil and Gas experience preferred
