plumbing, boiler heating systems, electrical work, and general repairs

Key Responsibilities:
Perform
plumbing repairs and maintenance
, including changing or repairing faucets, sinks, and toilets; clearing clogs; replacing pipes; faucet rough-ins; and locating leaks or other plumbing issues.
Conduct
electrical work
, such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures, and identifying electrical issues as needed.
Complete
cabinetry and closet door repairs and installations
.
Ensure
Fire & Life Safety
procedures and compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Oversee
waste, recycling, and compactor duties
(evening and weekend availability required).
Deliver
excellent customer service
and maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and staff.
Participate in
emergency on-call rotation
(overnight and weekends).
Act as a
liaison with contractors and security personnel
.
Oversee
building cleanliness
and assist with occasional cleaning duties as required.
Manage
building supplies and inventory
efficiently.
Maintain
daily coordination and clear communication
with the management office.
Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum
4 years' experience
in a
large high-rise rental property
Strong
building and in-suite maintenance
skills
Knowledge of
boiler heating systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
Understanding of
WHMIS
and
Health & Safety
practices and procedures
Familiarity with
building fire code compliance
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to
prioritize tasks
and manage time effectively

COMPENSATION
Large 1+Den Apartment (Rent Free, Taxable Benefit) plus 1 indoor parking spot.
