Join our team as a Building Service Worker in !

In this vital role based in Squamish you will help maintain the cleanliness and safety of our residential facilities, supporting our mission to provide quality housing for families. Your efforts will directly contribute to fostering a welcoming and well-maintained community environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to ensure hygienic living spaces.

Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks with attention to detail across residential and common areas.

Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and care procedures.

Support facility maintenance activities such as minor repairs and upkeep.

Assist with industrial cleaning projects when required.

Provide porter services to support building operations.

Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning and maintenance activities.

Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications:

Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and facilities maintenance.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor polishers.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and prolonged standing.

Prior experience in industrial or large-scale cleaning is a plus.

Experience working with Indigenous communities us a asset.
