Over your 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, youve learned to treat buildings with care and their tenants with even greater dedication. You always look for the best way to do things, and arent afraid to think outside the box to find the best answer. You address every request with a smile and in a timely manner, no matter how big or small, and you also know how to prioritize your multiple tasks.

What will you do?

Simply put, you will be responsible for maintenance and building operations. Below are some of the primary responsibilities that entails; well discuss the others in person:

• Carry out and/or Supervise preventative maintenance and regular inspections on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems;
• Complete tenant service calls such as changing lights, heating/cooling calls etc. in a safe and professional manner;
• Oversee the appearance and safety of the properties;
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions/recommendations;
• Oversee contractors and ensure they abide by contract guidelines and project timelines;
• Respond to emergency after hours calls as required;
• Communicate with Property Management on building and tenant issues regularly;
• Maintain maintenance and daily logs of equipment including meter readings;
• Maintain keys and locks register

There are also some physical requirements associated with this job. Here are some of the fun things well need you to confirm you can do:

• Bending, twisting, crouching, climbing and reaching
• Move and lift equipment and supplies
• A combination of walking, standing, sitting and driving. There wont be too much sitting at all, so dont worry about getting restless.

What type of experience do you have?

These are only some of the things wed like you to bring to the table. We can cover the rest when we meet:

• Bilingual - proficient in French and English is a must
• Youve gained your experience in a industrial/commercial/office/retail Real Estate environment
• You have a valid and clean Class 5 drivers license
• You are familiar with safety and fire codes and WHIMIS procedures;
• Your computer and communications skills are above par

Que ferez-vous ?

Bref, vous serez responsable du fonctionnement et l\'entretien des immeubles. Voici quelques-unes de vos principales responsabilit\xc3\xa9s. Nous parlerons du reste lors de notre rencontre:

• Effectuer et superviser des inspections compl\xc3\xa8tes de maintenance pr\xc3\xa9ventive et r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8res des syst\xc3\xa8mes m\xc3\xa9caniques, de plomberie et \xc3\xa9lectriques, y compris CVC.
• R\xc3\xa9pondre de mani\xc3\xa8re s\xc3\xa9curitaire et professionnelle aux diff\xc3\xa9rents appels de service tel que remplacer des lumi\xc3\xa8res, appels reli\xc3\xa9s au chauffage/ventilation, etc. ;
• Voir \xc3\xa0 lapparence et s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 des \xc3\xa9difices ;
• Assurer le d\xc3\xa9pannage technique et faire des recommandations ;
• Superviser le respect des directives et d\xc3\xa9lais des contrats par nos fournisseurs ;
• R\xc3\xa9pondre aux appels d\'urgence, apr\xc3\xa8s les heures ouvrables, si n\xc3\xa9cessaire ;
• Communiquer r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8rement avec le Directeur principal sur des questions li\xc3\xa9es aux locataires et b\xc3\xa2timents ;
• Maintenir un registre quotidien des lectures des compteurs et autres \xc3\xa9quipements ;
• Tenir un registre des cl\xc3\xa9s et serrures.

Il y a aussi des exigences physiques associ\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 ce travail. Voici quelques exemples des choses amusantes que nous aurons besoin de confirmer que vous pouvez faire :

• Se pencher, saccroupir, tourner, monter ;
• Lever et d\xc3\xa9placer d\xc3\xa9quipements et autres ; et
• Une combinaison des p\xc3\xa9riodes de travailler debout, marcher et conduire.

• Connaissance de lindustrie immobilier commercial/ industriel ou r\xc3\xa9sidentielle ;
• Connaissance des normes et proc\xc3\xa9dures en vigueur, en mati\xc3\xa8re de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 et de sant\xc3\xa9.
• Poss\xc3\xa9der un permis de conduire valide ainsi qu\'une voiture.
• Connaissances de base en informatique et aptitudes \xc3\xa0 la communication
